The Challenges
This job was a bit of a surprise. While we sold the window & door package, we were not originally contracted to perform the installation. Unfortunately, as so often happens with very modern, yet very foreign products, the original installer underestimated the scope of the job. Simkins Hallin stepped on to the job, mid-winter, with over four feet of snow on the ground and constant inclement and very windy weather.
The installation was performed using extensive scaffolding and equipment movers. This job featured massive door systems paired with windows with huge imported sheets of glass. While the learning curve was steep and fast, the result is a mountain home masterpiece.
